Designs for Health IgGI Shield contains ImmunoLin®, a serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (SBI)/protein isolate, a dairy-free alternative to standard colostrum powders. It contains no lactose or milk proteins such as casein and β-lactoglobulin, which can be poorly tolerated by some people.

Designs for Health IgGI Shield utilises the innovative\ ingredient ImmunoLin®. ImmunoLin® is a serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin/protein isolate (SBI) that has emerged as a unique alternative to bovine colostrum to support healthy digestion and immune function.
SBI comprises over 90% protein and more than 50% immunoglobulins, other peptides, and growth factors found naturally in milk or colostrum. Proteomics techniques have identified over 180 unique proteins in SBI. The mechanism by which immunoglobulins and other bioactive peptides found in SBI help to maintain gut barrier function is believed to be an overall effect on gut homeostasis, i.e. the healthy “balance” of a functioning intestinal tract, optimising digestion, mucosal health, nutrient utilisation and immune function.
SBI is involved in the direct binding of microbial components found naturally in the digestive tract8 without interfering with either the growth or composition of the commensal intestinal microbiome. It also has been shown to consistently improve food (caloric) intake and other nutritional parameters in various animal species.
Dosage
Adults, mix 2.5 g with water and drink immediately once daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
